The World is Fun works within our community to create volunteer cores tailored to specific interests and demographic ranges. With a new and social approach to volunteerism, this core invites an underrepresented and younger demographic to the volunteer pool. Through events catered to these specific demographics, The World is Fun will raise money and draw a large volunteer work force. Participants will become part of a socially active community with an extensive networking platform, allowing them to make friends and have fun while helping worthy causes.

The World is Fun’s Corporate Core introduces Seattle small business owners to local nonprofits in need. We facilitate the creation and/or maximization of charitable giving programs that benefit the charity and business alike. TWIF’s focus is on creating lasting community relationships. We will take into account the mission and social position of the business when considering nonprofits to pair them with. By working closely with the small business owner, TWIF will help implement marketing initiatives that will engage employees and consumers and allow the business to raise awareness for a nonprofit they believe in.

The World is Fun’s Critical Core will be a natural product of the synergism of our Community and Corporate Cores. By cultivating Seattle’s most dedicated (and most fun!) group of volunteers and seeding Seattle’s most socially responsible businesses with the charitable giving bug, The World is Fun will have created a community with the resources to fill the urgent needs of nonprofits. Whenever possible, TWIF will use our resources and relationships to help local nonprofits with unexpected or last minute needs. Whether the need arises for volunteers, in kind donations, or help with a fundraising event, The World is Fun will strive to do our part to support our fellow nonprofits and as our Community and Corporate Cores flourish, our Critical Core will strengthen exponentially.
