Saturday:

  • Pictures with Bad Santa (a TWIF fundraiser) – If you’ve ever had Christmas pictures taken at the mall as a kid, you’ve probably encountered a Santa of some sort. Whether you were charmed or slightly creeped out by the whole experience, you can rest assured that TWIF’s Bad Santa is upfront about his edginess. Join us and our friends, fans and volunteers for a Holiday Party on Dec. 1st from 6-10 pm. Snag a picture with the Man in Red or the Sugar Plum Elves, if that’s more your thing. Each festive photo is $10, and all proceeds benefit TWIF! There will be cheer (and beer) in abundance. More information and RSVP.

Saturday & Sunday:

  • Urban Craft Uprising - Urban Craft Uprising is a biannual show at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. With over 100 of the best indie designers, crafters and food vendors, UCU is a favorite event for craft-lovers in the Pacific NW! Doors for the show open at 11 a.m., but those in the know get there even earlier. In fact, a line often forms as early as 8 a.m. in front of the doors, as eager fans stake their claim for our famous swag bags, which are full of goodies from all the vendors, and handed out to the first 100 people through the doors each day. If you are unable to make it in time for the opening, there will be raffles EACH HOUR of the show! Be sure to walk over to the raffle booth when you come in to grab a ticket. They are FREE and the prizes are amazing. It could help cover a bulk of your holiday shopping! More information.
