This Friday, November 23rd, officially rings in Black Friday. The infamous shop-til-you-drop-a-thon will bring lines of camped-out early-bird consumers and hopefully no stampedes. Whether you participate or conscientiously object, take some time to do something festive to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season (or, at least, phase two of it).
The King 5 Wonderland Holiday Carousel will be twirling at Westlake from November 23 to January 3 to delight kids of all ages and raise money for Treehouse.
It’s not too late to sign up to volunteer! Duties include selling and taking tickets, helping riders on and off the carousel and snapping photos. Register here!
Arrive at Westlake Park at 4:30 for training, enjoy the tree lighting ceremony at 6:00 pm (as a volunteer, you’ll have V.I.P. access to this yearly tradition) and then get ready to launch the carousel into full gear.
We think you’ll enjoy this fun and festive Black Friday activity (plus it’s much easier on your wallet than shopping).
