This week’s been pretty monumental for me. I got offered two jobs, accepted one, booked a trip to Vegas, AND I’m going to be an auntie to a little GIRL :)
Needless to say- it’s time to celebrate.
My celebration of choice? Le Faux at Julia’s on Broadway. Self described as Seattle’s #1 Impersonator hot ticket, I’m ready to indulge myself in a delicious meal and some epic drag performances. I’ve been scoping out the pictures and it looks like they’ve got a solid Gaga, Cher, Adele, and Michael Jackson. I’d be into a little Cher. I believe in life after love. And that if they’ve found another person who can rock those cut-out cat suits it’d definitely be worth my ticket price.
Dinner starts at 7, and performances start at 10. As I’m so super excited and have nothing better to do at this moment in time-I’ve already decided on the Pig and Fig pizza. And Carrot Cake. And some drinks. It’s my party. I can indulge my inner fat kid if I want to.
I’m trying to decide what to do for Valentines. If anything. There’s always those anti-Valentines day events that are kind of funny. And then those singles events that I’ve never been to but would maybe consider if I had a buddy to go with me. And then there’s always the option of buying out Safeway’s stock of Ben and Jerry’s Chubby Hubby and having a night alone on the couch with Love Actually. If anyone has an idea of a fun event in Seattle let me know! I’m open to new ideas. 6 weeks into the new year and my resolution to get out and about is going strong!
Have a good Friday night TWIFfers!
