TWIF Events in April: A Look Back

April has been a great month for TWIF—full of fun, sun and awesome volunteer events. Although our BBQ got cancelled due to inclement weather (it’s rescheduled for May 8th!), our other three events yielded great fun (and photos). Read on to see our event highlights from April:

Treehouse Wearhouse: Saturday, 4/12

Treehouse is a local non-profit founded in 1988 that helps foster kids with basic material needs, education and social experiences so they can thrive. The Wearhouse is a free store full of donated items where foster children can shop for clothes, school supplies, books and toys. On Saturday, 4/12, TWIF volunteers helped organize the donated items. Check out the group photo below:

Hop Scotch Beer and Scotch Festival: Saturday, 4/19

Great scotch! This event was a hit with attendees and volunteers alike. But I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

Get Dirty at Marra Farm: Saturday, 4/26

Fruits, vegetables and herbs, oh my! TWIF volunteers at Marra Farm on Saturday helped prep beds for planting, weed out the bad guys and check drip irrigation systems. Check out our photos from the event below:
