Pour Wine to Support our Furry Friends

Furry friends being cats and dogs, that is. If you’re a fan of great local wine and beer in a beautiful outdoor setting with other awesome Seattleites, all while supporting a great cause, then sign up now for Kirkland Uncorked.

On Sunday, July 20th TWIF will be helping pour delicious wines from all over Washington State at Kirkland Uncorked. Did you know that our very own WA is home to some of the world’s best-loved wines? There are over 30,000 acres of vineyards and over 650 wineries right here in our Evergreen state. But Kirkland Uncorked isn’t just about wines.  There will also be a beer garden, restaurant samplings, a Burger Brawl, grilling competition and Food Truck Feast.

But enough about the event. What about the “great cause” it’s supporting that I mentioned earlier? Homeward Pet Adoption is one of Washington’s leading no-kill shelters. They’re a non-profit with the mission of giving homeless animals a second chance through their rescue, shelter and adoption programs.

So sign up for this event and enjoy our state’s grapey bounty in the summer sun.  And after you get done pouring wine alongside other awesome TWIF volunteers, you’ll get free admission to the event, a commemorative glass, 10 tasting tokens and an official Kirkland Uncorked t-shirt. Now that’s something to celebrate. Cheers!
