Fremont Fair

The Fremont Fair was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Starting with the naked bike ride to the people and floats that were a part of the parade. I haven’t seen anything so eccentric and unique. I really liked that about the fair. Another aspect of the fair that I really liked was that there was a huge volunteer base. I was checking TWIF volunteers in for a little over 2 hours and not only did pretty everyone show up who signed up, but there were also a lot of volunteers that signed up through the fair. I liked that people really cared about volunteering especially at such a fun event where there is so much going on that it would be hard to leave to go complete a volunteer shift. The people of Seattle will never cease to amaze me and I’m excited that I get a whole summer of this :)
