Other Ways to Get Involved:

Take a tour.
Jubilee Women’s Center offers community housing in two adjacent Capitol Hill residences and our newest location in the University District. We are happy to show you around and share info about Jubilee’s programs and impact.

Host a drive.
Organize a drive for items most needed by the women of Jubilee, such as grocery and drug store gift cards, bus tickets—even toilet paper (it doesn’t sound glamorous, but it’s a high-demand item in a women’s community). Involve your co-workers, friends, family, faith community, civic group, etc., or just use it as an excuse to host a “party with a purpose.”

Donate women’s clothing.
Our clothing boutique provides consignment quality women’s clothing free for more than 700 Jubilee residents and other low-income women in the community. The next time you or your friends are cleaning out the closet, keep Jubilee in mind for in-season clothing, shoes and accessories. Your donations are put to good use by women who might otherwise be unable to afford quality items or a professional wardrobe for interviews or a new job.

Volunteer Opportunities.
Volunteers are a highly valued part of the Jubilee community of support. Some of the ways we can use an extra hand:
•    Prepare a meal for residents
•    Staff the reception desk or boutique
•    Help with a fundraising event
•    Tend the garden or mow the lawn
•    Share graphic design or photo skills
