Lake Sammamish

Lake Sammamish an 8-mile fresh water lake that is located east of Seattle and stretches from Issaquah to Redmond. Lake Sammamish is a watershed, but water activities can still be performed. The most popular activities are waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing, rowing, and jet skiing.

Lake Sammamish is also home to the recently returned beaver. Beavers in the lake make people nervous because they could cause flooding, but studies have shown that for North American watersheds beavers are ecologically beneficial. Since they create dams that create ponds and then increases the fish and bird population.
