Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska
The Ronald McDonald House in Seattle is a “home-away-from-home” for families while their child undergoes treatment at Seattle Children’s Hospital. The House is built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest. In addition to providing housing, they also offer a stocked common pantry, meals through their volunteer dinner groups, activities and outings for kids, daily visits from certified therapy dogs, and many other services for their families. The House is so much more than a place to stay; it is a community.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska, they support seriously ill children and their families. At the Seattle House, they provide a "home-away-from-home" to help families through a difficult time. They also provide a van service for families staying in Anchorage while their children receive medical care.
