Underground Seattle Tour

Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour was started by the one and only man himself in 1965. Speidel is a member of a visionary group who campaigned against the city to designate Pioneer Square as a historic district in Seattle. The underground tour was a by-product of that campaign.

The underground tour’s home base is located in Pioneer Square. The tour begins there and starts out with a brief history speech of Pioneer Square and the reason why Pioneer Square has underground passages. The tour is about 45 minutes long, mostly in the underground passages, where more Seattle history is revealed.

Tours are daily and on the hour from 10am-7pm. Check out the website for ticket pricing and more information: Www.undergroundtour.com
