Woodland Park is located southwest of Green Lake and north of Fremont. The 90.9-acre park is divided into two sections by Aurora Avenue. The Woodland Zoo occupies most of the west of Aurora Avenue side of the park, but a small space for play and a formal rose garden. East of Aurora is picnic and recreation friendly. Woodland Park offers walking paths, playfields, tennis courts, a skatepark, and an off-leash section for dogs. There is also a large lawn space to play lawn bowling, horse shoes, bocce, and whatever else. Directions to the park can be found on the Seattle Parks and Recreation website.
