Cocktails and Connections - Volunteer Information
Pre-Event Requirements: Please review the alcohol safety information listed below before your shift.

Where to go: This event is being held at the Pacific Tower in the Panoramic Room. The Pacific Tower is the old Amazon building located at 1200 12th Ave S.
Is there parking? Yes, there is some free street parking in the area as well as a paid parking garage.
When to go: You will want to arrive on-site at the time of your scheduled shift. The shift time is 4-8pm. If you arrive late for your volunteer shift, we may not be able to accommodate you.
How to find us: Upon arrival, head to the eighth floor. We will greet you there.
TWIF Lead: We have a TWIF Lead at every event to lead the volunteer group. They will be your go-to person for everything you need during the event. Your leads for this event will be Valerie and Shay.
What to bring: You must have proper identification with you to volunteer. A water bottle and a snack are also never a bad idea. This event does not have any secured storage so please only bring what you can carry on your person.
What to wear: Please wear all black. Comfortable shoes are suggested as you may be moving around the event or on your feet.

Can I bring a friend? We still need volunteers for this event and we would appreciate any efforts you make in helping us find more volunteers. Feel free to tell your friends and co-workers - just make sure they register for a shift here.
How does this help? Proceeds from this event go to the Hearing, Speech and Deaf Center.
Age Requirement: 21+
Documentation: Upon request, we will gladly supply you with documentation for your volunteer hours for work or school purposes. We do NOT, however, provide court documentation. We do not believe that volunteering is a punishment and under no circumstances will we provide documentation for court-ordered community service.
Training: Our team will be there to show you everything you need to know upon arrival!
This event will have alcohol. As per Washington State Liquor Laws drinking before or during a volunteer shift is not allowed and this will be strictly enforced. Please realize that if a liquor control agent sees anyone drinking and then returning to volunteering, that person and the event will be fined. Drinking behind the booth is against the law. Liquor Control Board Agents frequently visit these types of events to enforce these rules.
