We are turning 10 this summer and what better way to celebrate than to get away at Adult Summer Camp! Join us for a weekend of camping, river tubing, and outdoor fun and games. The fun starts Friday, August 23rd and lasts until August 25th, in Carnation, Washington.

Now adult summer camps don’t come around every weekend, so you probably have some questions. Let us try and break things down for you!

What kind of food is being served?

Food will be standard outdoor camping deliciousness. Think hamburgers, hotdogs, breakfast burritos, and of course - s’mores! But of course, we’re no strangers to dietary restrictions. Simply email events@theworldisfun.org and let us know.

What activities are we doing?

What’s summer camp without games and crafts? In addition to creating fun trinkets together, we’ll also set some time out for floating the Tolt and Snoqualmie Rivers. Don’t forget to bring your floatie! When we’re not enjoying the sun, we’ll come back for music by the campfire, games of TWIFfle-ball, and more.

What should my tent name be?

Every tent should have a great name to help your fellow campers get to know you. Here are some of our favorite ideas to help you draw inspiration: Seattle attractions, movie or book references, astronomy (or astrology) references, or if you want to go the extra mile...think of something that everyone in your tent has in common and find a way to incorporate it into your name!

Can I go by myself?

Of course, we absolutely encourage you to come along and enjoy the fun!

Is alcohol allowed?

Sure is! This is a 21+ only event. We’re all adults and you can definitely enjoy a beverage responsibly.

Will be there be bathrooms and showers?

Bathrooms yes...showers not so much. However, there is a river to take a dip in and the campground next door has showers available for a small fee. For such a short trip, baby wipes will likely suffice!

What should I bring?

The basics to know are that you should bring all of your own camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, chair, etc.), a flashlight, and a flotation device for river floating. Visit our event page to learn more and sign-up for the event! But hurry, space is limited.
