Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and whether you celebrate with a partner, friends, or family, one thing is for sure: Seattle always has fun and festive activities around the city and beyond. Here are four ways to celebrate the month of love with whoever you choose!
To escape the city: Bainbridge Island’s Wine on the Rock: Wine & Chocolate
Having personally attended this weekend last year, I can attest to the versatility of this event. It’s truly a fun experience for couples or a group of friends. It’s a great way to check out the island’s local wines while also paired with delicious chocolates at each stop.
To get a workout in: Cupid’s Undie Run
Cupid’s Undie Run takes place across the country to raise money for finding a cure for Neurofibromatosis in partnership with the Children’s Tumor Foundation. The run is about a mile and ends with a dance party!
For music and greenery: Greenhouse Gigs: Valentine's Concert at The Conservatory
Head to the Volunteer Park Conservatory after dinner for live music in the Seasonal House. A 21+ event, you’ll be treated to music, desserts, and light hors d'oeuvres with drinks available for purchase.
For the family: Heart Hullabaloo at Seattle Children’s Museum
If you have little ones, try checking out the Seattle Children’s Museum this month for their Heart Hullabaloo series. The theme is of course, hearts, and includes activities throughout the month such as heart origami, heart storytime, and more!
However you choose to spend it, make sure you reserve your spot soon! If there’s one thing that’s for certain, it’s that events like these are sure to fill up fast.
