Where to go: This event is being held at Fremont Studios, 155 N 35th Street, Seattle, WA 98103
Is there parking? There is paid street parking and several paid parking lots in the area. We recommend public transportation for this event as it is easily accessible by many bus lines.
When to go: You will want to arrive on-site at the time of your scheduled shift. If you cannot remember the shift time that you registered for, you can look for your shift confirmation from Universe or email email@example.com. If you arrive late for your volunteer shift, we may not be able to accommodate you.

TWIF Lead: We have a TWIF Lead at every event to lead the volunteer group. They will be your go-to person for everything you need during the event. They will be there to greet you at the event.
What to bring: You must have proper identification with you to volunteer. A water bottle and a snack are also never a bad idea. This event does not have any secured storage so please only bring what you can carry on your person.
What to wear: There is not a specific dress code for this event. Please wear clothing and shoes that will allow you to move around the event.

Can I bring a friend? If there are volunteer shifts open on our website, please have your friend register and we would love to have them join us. If the event is full, we often have a waiting list and cannot accommodate unregistered volunteers.
How does this help? Proceeds from this event go to the Lifelong. Lifelong is on a mission to empower people living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS and/or other chronic conditions to lead healthier lives.
Perks: Stay for the event and watch the festivities after your shift. Although we cannot guarantee you a space for playing bingo (depends on ticket sales), you can still enjoy the entertainment and fun! Please bring $5 in cash if you want to play!
Age Requirement: 21+
Documentation: Upon request, we will gladly supply you with documentation for your volunteer hours for work or school purposes. We do NOT, however, provide court documentation. We do not believe that volunteering is a punishment and under no circumstances will we provide documentation for court-ordered community service.
Training: Our team will be there to show you everything you need to know upon arrival!
This event will have alcohol. TWIF volunteers will not be pouring alcohol at this event but there will be alcohol onsite. As per Washington State Liquor Laws drinking before or during a shift is not allowed and this will be strictly enforced. Please realize that if a liquor control agent sees anyone drinking and then returning to volunteering, that person and the event will be fined. Drinking behind the booth is against the law. Liquor Control Board Agents frequently visit these types of events to enforce these rules.
